Phone videos carry the spot where you pressed record, your phone model and the date. See what's in yours, then download a copy without it. The video itself isn't touched.
Only the metadata is read and rewritten, in your browser. The video is never uploaded.or drop it here. Only the metadata is read, so large files are fine.

To remove metadata from a video, drop an MP4 or MOV file above to see its location, phone model and dates, then click Remove location and phone details. The cleaner blanks those fields in place, so the video and sound stay bit-for-bit identical and large files take seconds. Checking is free; cleaning your own videos is part of Pro, and you can try it on the example first.

MP4 and MOV files are built from boxes. The cleaner finds the boxes that hold location, device and date details and blanks them in place, keeping every box the same size. Nothing that points into the video data moves, so the file plays exactly as before. That's also why it's fast: a 2 GB video is cleaned in about the time it takes to read its metadata.
